Kayla is a Tennessee-born artist with a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Memphis. Her creative practice is deeply influenced by her travels and a longstanding fascination with art history and mythology. After a period of artistic dormancy and self-disconnection, Kayla rekindled her passion in 2023 upon moving to Ohio. She has since reestablished her voice through whimsical, monochromatic ink drawings that explore themes of resilience, femininity, and the beauty of the human form. An active presence in Northeast Ohio’s art community, Kayla has exhibited her work in several regional galleries, joined the Akron Society of Artists, and engages with fellow creatives through her work. Her art reflects a renewed commitment to personal truth and the transformative power of storytelling through visual art.

From the original Picket Fence Show to the Art In The Park of today. Artists of Medina County Ohio join to promote the arts. Every summer we sponsor Art in the Park, an outdoor festival of  the arts.
